No injuries in Mountview house fire

A home that caught on fire in the Grande Prairie neighbourhood of Mountview on Wednesday, January 10 has left multiple occupants displaced.

The Grande Prairie Fire Department responded to the scene at around 12:45 p.m. with two fire engines, a ladder truck, a heavy rescue unit, and command unit.

Smoke and flames were coming from the attached garage of the home when firefighters arrived and they successfully suppressed the fire without it spreading to neighbouring properties.

It was approximately -26C at the time of the fire.

There were no injuries reported during this incident and the fire is being investigated by the GPFD Fire Investigator.
