GP Minor Hockey running as scheduled

Grande Prairie Minor Hockey is still set to run this weekend.

The U9 mega tournament is set to run out of the Design Works Centre all weekend and will feature 38 teams.

The U18 AAA Storm are also in action on Saturday for their Retro night at the Dave Barr Arena, starting at 6 pm.

At this time, the only hockey games cancelled for this weekend are all of the NPHL and the NWJHL Navigators Saturday game against Beaverlodge, and the Sunday game against Dawson Creek, due to the extreme cold.
