MD of Peace updating Emergency Management Bylaw

Municipal District of Peace council has approved an updated Emergency Management Bylaw.
The new bylaw addresses issues identified in the previous bylaw following the 2023 fire season.
One change outlined by the bylaw is the expansion of the Emergency Management Committee to include the MD of Peace Fire Chief and a Deputy Director of Emergency Management.
The next council meeting will be held on January 23.
