Saskatchewan RCMP say missing man may be in Alberta or B.C.

Jan 12, 2024 | 4:16 PM

Saskatchewan RCMP are asking people in Alberta and B.C. to keep their eyes open for a man missing since early December.

RCMP said on Dec. 29 that it was about 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 20 when they were requested to do a wellness check on a male at a home in Canora, which is 2.5 hours NE of Regina.

Officers did not find the male.

They then shared that 67-year-old William ‘Michael’ Neuman was last physically seen on or around Dec. 5 in Canora. Investigators believe he may be injured and in need of urgent medical attention.

They now say that while it’s unknown if he travelled anywhere in particular, people in Alberta or British Columbia should keep their eyes open, adding that he is known to have connections in B.C.

Neuman is described as 5’10” tall and 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and long grey hair.

Anyone with information should report it to Canora RCMP at 306-563-4700. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
