Westbound Highway 43 from Bezanson to Grande Prairie to be repaved this year
Westbound Highway 43 between Bezanson and Grande Prairie will be repaved this year.
Alberta Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors Devin Dreeshen says the province is spending $8 million dollars on an overlay project that will stretch from east of Bezanson to the city.
“That’ll help out a lot (in) just smoothing out that section of road, for sure.”
“Something even in my neck of the woods in central Alberta, frost heaves, you can’t just carve out where the frost heaves are … you really have to take out that stretch of road and make sure the base is built better and have a lot smoother ride.”
