Just over $35,000 was donated to the Compassion House Foundation, thanks to a fundraiser put on by the Grande Prairie Tinseltown Winter Market.
The market, which took place in November, raised $35,200 for Compassion House, to help support western Canadian women, who need to visit Edmonton for cancer care.
In a post on social media, the Grande Prairie Tinseltown Winter Market thanked everyone who volunteered, attended the market, and donated; Adding “Your generosity will have a lasting impact on this organization and lives of women with cancer.”
