Uride is donating to Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue in Grande Prairie.
The ride-sharing service will be donating 10 per cent of all ride fares on Thursday, January 25, as part of its Ride for a Reason initiative.
The donations will not only benefit the animals but will also be used to encourage potential pet owners to adopt from shelters.
As part of the initiative, Uride will cover the adoption fee for a featured animal with bandaged Paws; in this case, Tahini, a spayed, one-and-a-half-year-old, large breed northern mix female dog, who is waiting for her forever home.
