In the Northwest Junior Hockey League tonight (Thursday, February 1), the Wheat Kings are in Beaverlodge.

Face-off at 8 p.m.

The Wheat Kings are currently third in the league standings with 49 points.

The Blades are fourth with 39 points.

Wednesday night (January 31), Fairview doubled visiting Peace River 8-4.

That is the Flyer’s third win in 38 games. They now have seven points on the year. The sixth-place Navigators have 35 points.

NPHL

In the North Peace Hockey League tonight (Thursday, February 1), Dawson Creek in Grande Prairie and Fort St. John in Spirit River.

Both games start at 8:30 p.m.

The Canucks lead the West Division with 31 points, followed by the Rangers with 20, Athletics with 19 and the Flyers with two.

Falher leads the East Division with 23 points followed by Manning with 16 and Valleyview with nine.
