The County of Grande Prairie is accepting nominations for dedicated volunteers and groups to be recognized through its second “It Takes a Volunteer ” program.
The program celebrates individuals, groups, and organizations that have enriched the lives of county residents through volunteer work.
In 2023, the inaugural program recognized 10 individuals, six volunteer groups and three organizations that embodied the spirit of community service.
Nominations are open now until March 3. The nominees will be recognized during National Volunteer Week in mid April.
