Aquatera Utilities named Alberta’s Top Employers

Alberta’s Top Employers have released the results from this year’s competition and “Aquatera is proud to be recognized as one of Alberta’s Top Employers for three consecutive years,” said Vaughn Bend, Aquatera’s Chief Officer.

This annual competition, which first began in 2006, serves as a special designation for Alberta companies, recognizing their business as a leader in industry and an exceptional place to work.

Businesses with their head office in Alberta who apply are then evaluated in eight different areas:

  • Physical Workplace
  • Work Atmosphere
  • Health, Financial and Family Benefits
  • Vacation and Time Off
  • Employee Communications
  • Performance Management
  • Training and Skills Development
  • Community Involvement

Bend said in the same release, “Aquatera has taken great strides when it comes to looking after its employees and supporting the communities where we live and work.”

“This award reflects our commitment, and that of our employees, who continue to do great work on behalf of the communities we serve. It’s an honour to be among such respected company and we congratulate all of this year’s winners.”
