Fairview Health Complex ED without on-site physician multiple times over five day period

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department could be without an on-site physician for several days this week and next.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. Friday, February 2, till 7:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3 and then again from 7:00 a.m. Monday, February 5 to 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 7.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to surrounding healthcare facilities.

If coverage is found the disruptions may be cancelled.
