Feb 3, 2024 | 6:00 AM

UPDATE: Sunrise House says in a social media post that Saturday’s sold-out Big Hearts for Big Kids raised $418,637.88 for Grande Prairie’s youth shelter.

The post also says “Grande Prairie, you wrapped your arms around youth, and families in our community once again.”

The annual Big Hearts for Big Kids concert fundraiser takes place at the TARA Centre in Evergreen Park today. (Saturday, February 3)

Like every year in the past, the show will be highlighted by Peace Region country music star Tenille Townes. Dean Brody, Caylee Hammack, and Eric Paslay will also be there.

Proceeds from the show and a live auction will go towards supporting and operating Sunrise House, Grande Prairie’s youth emergency shelter.

The show is a sell-out this year.

Doors are set to open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
