Drought workshops coming to the B.C. Peace
The provincial government in British Columbia is hosting a series of workshops in more than 30 communities to help farmers around the province prepare for a potential drought this summer.
Farmers will receive water management advice and information about available financial support.
The B-C government says the sessions will take place this month through to April for communities in the southern Interior, Cariboo, Kootenays, Okanagan, Lower Mainland, Peace region and Vancouver Island.
The meetings in the B.C. Peace are set for March 21 in Dawson Creek and March 22 in Fort St. John.
