High Level RCMP arrest a wanted male and three others in Bushe River

High Level RCMP executed a search warrant on February 2 in Bushe River looking for a man wanted on multiple charges.

Their investigation led to the arrest of the wanted man, along with three other individuals.

As a result of the investigation 34-year-old Milton Junior Salopree, 30-year-old Todd Harvey Flett, 33-year-old Tyson Lance Konda Martel, all of Bushe River, and 25-year-old Jessica Flett, a resident of High Level, were arrested for multiple offences, including:

  • Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
  • Possession of psilocybin for the purpose of trafficking
  • Multiple firearms-related offences
  • Possession of property obtained by crime

Several illegal items were also seized from the home:

  • Two sawed-off shotguns, one of which was stolen
  • Sawed-Off .22 Caliber Rifle
  • High Caliber Rifle
  • Ammunition
  • Four knives, including machetes and a switchblade
  • Police Baton
  • Black firearm safe containing; 147 grams of suspected cocaine, 344 grams of suspected psilocybin, two weight scales, a cell phone, a tablet and memory cards.

Additionally, Salopree was arrested on warrants related to:

  • Failure to comply with Orders and Undertakings
  • Possession of a firearm for a dangerous purpose
  • Pointing a firearm
  • Aggravated assault
  • Forcible confinement
  • Break-and-enter

All the suspects were brought before a Justice of the Peace and released with conditions, except for Salopree, who was remanded into custody with a court date set for February 26.

The remaining three also have a court date set for February 26.
