PWPSD welcomes two new district principals for upcoming school year

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division is appointing two new district principals for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Mr. Mike Lauzon, the current Sexsmith Secondary School Principal who has been with PWPSD for over 20 years, serving the last ten as the Sexsmith Principal. He will be heading up the role of District Principal of Educational Services.
Mrs. Erin MacLellan will be taking over the other role as District Principal of Inclusive Education, moving on from her previous role as Inclusive Learning Coach. Mrs. MacLellan has worked with PWPSD for 18 years and is a graduate of Sexsmith Secondary.
In their new roles, MacLellan will be overseeing early childhood services, kindergarten and program unit funding. Lauzon will be responsible for supporting and implementing the new junior high and high school curriculum.
