Local hockey Thursday includes a Game 7 in the NPHL playoffs

The Design Works Centre will host a Game 7 in the North Peace Hockey League playoffs Thursday night.

Spirit River and Grande Prairie face off at 8:30.

The winner will move on to play Dawson Creek in the West Division final.

The East Division final will start Saturday with Manning in Falher.

In the Northwest Junior Hockey League playoffs Thursday, the County Wheat Kings are in Peace River.

Game time is 8 p.m.

The series is tied 1-1.
