Joussard man wins $100,000 off ULTIMATE scratch ticket

A Joussard resident has claimed $100,000 after purchasing an ULTIMATE scratch ticket in High Prairie.

Laurie Savill purchased his ticket from the Rest Apple Store, on 53 Avenue in High Prairie, and said in a release, “I had to do a double take while scratching my ticket.”

While claiming his $100,000 prize, Savill said he’s “planning on surprising his wife with a trip somewhere warm, and maybe a new car for myself, before putting the rest in the bank.”

Savill added he’s been containing his excitement, not telling his friends and family, but “it feels really good” to win.
