Grande Prairie under snowfall warning

Feb 24, 2024 | 7:12 PM

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Grande Prairie area.

They are forecasting a 30 per cent chance of flurries this evening and after midnight, with 5 to 10 cm expected by Sunday morning, and 10 to 20 cm by Sunday evening.

Environment Canada also warns residents that snowfall is projected to be heavy at times, leading to reduced visibility and travel difficulties.

They suggest drivers “prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.”
