Fairview Health Complex emergency department closed until Tuesday morning

The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department is currently without an on-site physician until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27.

During the closure, nursing staff will remain on-site to perform urgent triage, assessments and referrals to neighbouring facilities.

AHS also asks anyone experiencing a medical emergency during the closure, to still contact 911, as EMS will be available and rerouting calls to neighbouring facilities.

If coverage is found, this ED closure could be cancelled.
