Snowfall warning lifted

The snowfall warning for the Grande Prairie region has been lifted.

Environment Canada says Grande Prairie received 7.6 centimetres of snow on Sunday, setting a new record for snow. It originally sat at 7.4 centimetres recorded on February 25, 1952.

Environment Canada expects warmer temperatures to follow later in the week, forecasting a high of -6 on Wednesday.
