2024 Mighty Peace Teachers’ Convention set to take over PWA & Charles Spencer

Peace Region students will have an extra long weekend this week, as the 2024 Mighty Peace Teacher’s Convention gets underway Thursday, March 5.

It will run all day both Thursday and Friday.

Teachers from all over the region will be hosted at the Peace Wapiti Academy and Charles Spencer High School and take part in numerous learning seminars.

The Alberta Teacher’s Association has also provided three keynote speakers for this year’s convention; Curtis Carmicheal, Monique Gray Smith, and Chris Gonsalvez.

Shuttles will also be offered to transport teachers between schools, the full shuttle schedule can be found below:
