PWPSD hires new principals for Sexsmith Secondary and Eaglesham school

There has been a change up in leadership for a pair of Peace Wapiti Public School Division schools.

Both Sexsmith Secondary School and Eaglesham School will start the 2024/2025 school year with new principals.

Current assistant principal Mrs. Ali Lario will be taking over at Sexsmith, while newcomer Mr. Mark Pelley will be taking the job at Eaglesham.

Lario has a combined degree in Education and Physical Education from the University of Alberta.

Pelley has been in an administrative role for the past six years and has bachelors degrees in education, theology, and business Information systems.

Lario and Pelley’s new positions begin at the start of the upcoming school year.
