Fairview Health Complex emergency department without a doctor twice during the week

The Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician for a combined 60 hours this week.

The first closure will be from 7 a.m. Monday, March 11 until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13 while the other will take place start at 7 a.m. on Friday, March 15 and end at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 16

During the closures, nursing staff will remain on-site to perform urgent triage assessments and referrals to neighbouring facilities.

Any residents experiencing a medical emergency during the closures are still asked to contact 911, as EMS will be available and will be rerouting calls to neighbouring facilties.
