County of Grande Prairie Council approves purchase of Voyent Alert notification service

The County of Grande Prairie will be implementing a new mass notification service.
At its Monday meeting County Council approved the purchase of Voyent Alert to provide subscribers with target alerts, service disruption notices and more via mobile devices, email, and telephones.
The Municipal District of Greenview also began using Voyent Alert in early February.
The county says residents will be able to sign up for the service soon.
