Special Olympics Grande Prairie accepting items for fundraiser auction

Special Olympics Grande Prairie is seeking donations from local businesses for a fundraiser dinner and auction happening in April.
The organization is looking for silent auction items, door prizes and cash donations to help support Grande Prairie’s Special Olympians.
Proceeds will help pay for travel and expenses for athletes to attend qualifiers and tournaments, assist in the purchase of equipment and rental space, and allow for the introduction of new sports for disabled athletes like speed skating and alpine skiing.
The Special Olympics Grande Prairie Pub Fundraiser Night is happening at the Jackpot Grill & Events Center April 20.
