The Grande Prairie Storm play Game 3 of their series with Calgary Monday night.

The Canucks currently lead 2-0 after back to back 4-3 wins over the weekend, with one coming in OT on Friday.

The Storm now host the Canucks for a two game home stand Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. to try and even out the series and avoid the brooms.

NPHL

The Spriit River Rangers are making the NPHL final a series.

In the North Peace Hockey league heading into this weekend, the Rangers were trailing the league championship 2-0.

However, thanks to a spirited 5-2 win on Saturday in enemy territory, the series now sits at 2-1.

The Rangers will now host Game 4 at home on Tuesday, starting at 8:30.

In the Northwest Junior Hockey League final, the Fort. St. John Huskie’s are staring down the barrel of their first league championship loss in five years.

The Huskie’s have won the league the past four years and currently trail the championship series to La Crete 3-0.

La Crete won three games played in Fort St. John over the weekend by scores of 3-1 Friday, 3-1 Saturday and 4-2 Sunday.

Game 4 is set to take place on Friday in La Crete at 8 p.m.m.
