Fake 911 call to High Level RCMP leads to four arrests
High Level RCMP have arrested multiple suspects after receiving a “fraudulent 911 call” about a shooting in the town.
Mounties were out conducting proactive patrols on March 9, in hopes of locating a suspect wanted on multiple warrants, and “attended a residence known to police.”
While at the home, officers noticed a suspect out on conditions, who was court-ordered to stay away from the residence, inside.
A few minutes later, High Level RCMP received a call about a shooting in the town, which was determined to be false, and came from the inside of the suspected residence.
