Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools to hold two by-elections

Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools is holding two by-elections to fill vacancies on their board.

The first is set for May 28 to fill the opening in Ward 3, which takes in Fairview and area. Nominations have to be in by noon on April 30. Trustee Gaylane Moskalyk resigned from the board in February.

The second will be held on June 25 to fill a vacancy in Ward 1, which includes Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge and Sexsmith. Nominations have to be in by noon on May 28. Trustee Michael Ouelette has been removed from the board after missing four straight meetings.

Nomination packages are available at the board office located in downtown Grande Prairie.
