MD of Peace sets up emergency mass texting service

The Municipal District of Peace has set up a mass texting service to communicate with residents during emergencies.

The service is on a voluntary basis. Residents will not be automatically added to the service.

In the case of an emergency, alerts will also be set out though the MD’s website and social media along the mass texting service.
