Piranhas win medals, team awards at recent competitions

The Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club won a bunch of medals and finished fifth in the team standings at the Western Canadian Championships held over the weekend in Winnipeg.

Piranha’s swimmers won 13 medals, seven gold, four silver and two bronze.

Oliver Dawson won four of those gold medals, Mikayla Laurin two and Marissa Laurin one.

Mikayla also earned a silver medal, Dominic Kwiecien a silver and bronze, Jesse Carlson a silver and Brandon Stanton a silver and bronze. His medals came in para swimming.
