Storm forward receives AJHL award

The Grande Prairie Storm’s forward, Alex Atwill has been named to the AJHL All-League 2nd team.

Atwill led the Storm in points, and goals this season, raking in 23 goals, with 35 helpers for 58 points in 57 games; finishing at 7th in the league for points.

He added to that spectacular regular season performance with eight points throughout 10 games in the postseason, taking the 3rd placed Calgary Canucks to six games in round one.

With this elimination, Atwill now finishes his AJHL career with 53 goals and 76 assists for 129 points, split between the Storm and the Bonnyville Pontiacs.

In a post on social media, The Storm congratulated Atwill for his accomplishment.
