Female GP U15 Knights & Female U18 Beaverlodge Blades win provincials

Two peace region female hockey teams claimed the top spot in their divisions over the weekend.

The Grande Prairie U15 Knights hosted provincials at Design Works Centre, beating Camrose 2-1 in the final. Finishing the tournament perfect, with a 5-0 record.

The Beaverlodge U18 squad also ended up taking the championship in Calgary, as they downed Battle River 5-2.
