Grande Prairie census schedule for May and June

City Hall says a municipal census will be done in Grande Prairie between May 1 and June 30 this year.

Council approved having this done at its February 26 meeting.

The city says in a news release that an updated population court will make sure the city is getting its proper amount of per capita funding from the province, will help with local planning and help attract new economic opportunities.

City residents can fill out the census online, during a door-to-door survey or by calling 311.

PIN cards that can be used to fill put the census will be delivered on May 1.
