MD of Peace Council approves new Fire Services Agreement with Peace River Fire Dept.

The Municipal District of Peace has reached a long-term agreement with the Peace River Fire Department.
At their meeting in late March, the MD of Peace Council approved a new agreement of $55,000 per year for the department’s services west and southwest of the Town of Peace River from January 2025, through to December 2027.
A temporary agreement for 2024 was signed in January after the prior agreement expired at the end of 2023.
