NWP and Aquatera launching Water and Wastewater Technician certificate

Northwestern Polytechnic is adding a Water and Wastewater Technician certificate to it’s fall 2024 lineup.

Starting in September, students will be able to complete the 12-month program and become level one and two technicians, to monitor and operate essential water control systems and equipment.

Aquatera Utilities has partnered with NWP to develop the certificate and a scholarship fund for operator training.

The program will focus on maintaining and operating specialized equipment water and wastewater treatment, followed by 600 hours of industry practicum.
