Junior B hockey provincials are taking place in Peace River until April 7.
Two teams from the NWJHL will be representing the Peace, as the Lumber Barons are the league champions, and the Navigators were chosen as the host city and will serve as the sixth team in the tournament.

That game was followed up by the Wainright Bisons putting the wheels to the Calgary Stampeders 5-3, and finally for the night capper, it was an all-Peace Region match, with the La Crete Lumber Barons beating Peace River 6-2.
