Wildfire Danger Rating HIGH for Peace River Forest Area

The Peace River Forest Area has upgraded their wildfire danger rating to High.

Alberta Wildfire warns wildfires can start even in cooler weather, especially in dry and windy conditions.

A fire advisory is currently in effect for the area, with permits being issued on a case-by-case basis and campfires are still permitted.
