County Census workers begin going door to door next week

Apr 11, 2024 | 11:38 AM

County of Grande Prairie Census Workers will begin going door to door starting on Monday, April 15

This is being done to help any residents who wish to complete their census, “at their front door.”

According to the County, the Census only consists of six questions and can be done after displaying your Personal Identification Number or PIN to the Census worker, making the whole process “fast and simple.”

The Census can also be done online by visiting the County’s website and entering your PIN.

The County says a Census needs to be done before their next election, as since 2021, the County has taken responsibility for the dissolved Village of Hythe. This requires the County to review its election boundaries and number of councillors.
