Rangeland Derby tarp auction taking place Thursday night

The chuckwagon auction for the Calgary Stampede’s Rangeland Derby is set for tonight (Thursday April 11).

There are 27 drivers included in the auction.

That includes five with connections to the Peace: Cody Ridsdale; Kirk, Mitch and Dayton Sutherland, and Chanse Vigen.

Layne MacGillvray is the defending champion.

The Rangeland Derby is set for July 5 to 14.
