Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Section search leads to drug seizure, three arrests

Last month, the Grande Prairie RCMP Drug Section Unit, along with Police Dog Services and the Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the City.
On March 14, Mounties executed the warrant at a residence in the Countryside south area, leading to the seizure of 110.4 grams of cocaine, over $20,000 in Canadian currency and drug-trafficking paraphernalia.
19-year-old Edmonton resident Jamal Mustafa, 56-year-old Sangudo resident, Lenz Thorsten and 45-year-old Dawn Purshke of Whitecourt all had possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime charges laid against them.
All three were released on conditions with a court date set for April 29.
