No doctor at Fairview ED Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Alberta Health Services says the emergency department at the Fairview Health Complex will be without an on site physician for most of this week.

AHS says that because coverage can’t be found, there will be no doctor on site from 7 a.m. Tuesday until 7 a.m. Friday.

Anyone with a medical emergency can still call 911 as EMS is still available.

Nursing staff will be on site in Fairview to provide triage and assessments.
