Saddle Hills County welcomes new Community Peace Officer

There’s a new Community Peace Officer with Saddle Hills County.

Wayne Olson officially commenced his duties Friday after previously working for Alberta Health Services for 17 years, starting as a Contract Security Officer, and working his way up to Protection Services Officer.

His duties centre around education and bylaw enforcement, as well as monitoring traffic on County roads for offences such as drunk driving and speeding.

Olson is married with two children ages 13 to 18.
