County Council finalizes 2024 Budget
County of Grande Prairie Council approved the 2024 budget during its meeting Thursday, April 18.
The budget includes a 2.9 per cent municipal tax rate increase that the county says aligns with public feedback that identified fire services and road conditions as important areas of focus.
The increase translates to approximately $58.69 annually on a residential property valued at $482,000.
The $223.5 million budget includes $107 million for general operation, $6.5 million for debt payments, and $110 million for capital investments.
