GPPSD announces nominee for ASBA Edwin Parr Award

Grande Prairie Public School Division has announced their Zone 1 nominee for the 2024 Alberta School Boards Association’s Edwin Parr Teacher Award for outstanding first-year teachers.

Riverstone Public School grade 5/6 teacher Rayanne Beby is GPPSD’s nominee this year for her commitment to leadership, inclusivity, and support in her classroom.

GPPSD calls Beby a homegrown talent as she attended and graduated from Grande Prairie Public Schools and achieved her teaching degree at Northwestern Polytechnic before returning to her old school division as a teacher.
