Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership communities participating in Emergency Preparedness Week

The municipalities that make up the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership (GPREP) are participating in Emergency Preparedness Week.

From May 5 to May 11 the City and County of Grande Prairie will be launching a series of social media campaigns centred around the week’s theme of Be Prepared.

The social media posts will cover a variety of topics including how to build an emergency kit, prepare pets for emergencies, and planning for an evacuation.

GPREP is a service that coordinates resources, training and response strategies to address large-scale emergencies in partner communities.
