Wembley Elementary School begins installation of new playground

A new playground is being installed at Wembley Elementary School this week.
The playground is replacing a 40-year-old structure after several years of fundraising by the Wembley Community Society.
Approximately $148,000 was funded by the society with donations from the County of Grande Prairie and Strathcona Resources Ltd.
Wembley Elementary is thanking everyone who helped make the project a reality and appreciates the society as they continue to raise the needed $400,000 to replace the larger playground at the school.
