Dawson Creek RCMP continue search for wanted man after weapons, other items seized

Dawson Creek RCMP say a search for a wanted man will continue after weapons and other items were seized from an industrial lot on Monday (May 6).

Mounties say they got a report that a wanted man was spotted near the industrial property on 115 Street. The man had left by the time police arrived.

A search of that property turned of that up four rifles, two handguns, several hundred rounds of ammunition, suspected fentanyl, fake police gear, documents that were obtained illegally, a stolen motorbike and a drone.

The illegally obtained documents included Social Insurance Number cards, driver’s licenses, and passports.
