Veteran Mitchell attends Ticats rookie camp wearing a walking boot
HAMILTON — Bo Levi Mitchell created a stir Wednesday at the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ rookie camp.
The veteran quarterback attended the opening day wearing a walking boot on his right foot. Sophomore Taylor Powell took the majority of snaps.
Mitchell suffered a fractured right leg last season that required surgery.
Afterwards, Ticats head coach Scott Milanovich told reporters Mitchell was wearing the boot as a precaution and that he expected the quarterback to practise with the team Monday.
