Friday semi-final day at NAHC

Friday is semi-final day at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships.

Girl’s

On the girl’s side, Alberta will play Manitoba at 5 p.m. while British Columbia plays Ontario at 9 p.m.

Alberta and Ontario are both unbeaten in four games and had byes in the semi-final round.

The winners will meet in the gold medal game Saturday at 7 p.m while the losers play in the bronze medal game Saturday at 1 p.m.

There are also relegation games. Eastern Door & North faces Atlantic at 8 a.m. Saskatchewan’s opponent in the 2:15 p.m. game has not yet been decided.

Boy’s

In the boy’s semi finals, Manitoba plays Ontario at 11 a.m., followed by B.C against Saskatchewan at 2 p.m.

B.C. and Manitoba have perfect 4-0 records so far and also had byes in the semi-final round.

The boy’s gold medal game is set for 4 p.m. Saturday while the bronze medal game starts at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Alberta will play in a relegation game at 5:15 p.m. Friday against a yet-to-be determined opponent. Alberta lost to Saskatchewan 6-4 in the semi-finals.

Team Atlantic and Eastern Door & North meet in the other regulation game at 11:15 a.m.
