City of Grande Prairie offers tips for residents to help assist seasonal workers

The City of Grande Prairie is offering tips to help residents identify seasonal workers as they complete various tasks over the summer months.

The city says their outdoor workers tending to their parks and playgrounds or assessing properties will wear designated uniforms and carry city-issued identification badges, as do workers collecting census data. They can also be recognized by their high-visibility yellow vests.

Additionally, the City is sending out a reminder to pet owners to ensure their pets are securely restrained and do not impeded the workers as they perform their duties.

Anyone with concerns regarding city staff working in their area are asked to contact Access GP by dialing 3-1-1.
